Overview

The Yagi INSAT Antenna is a satellite transmission instrument used to relay information from assorted data collection platforms to any of the INSAT family of geostationary spacecraft or GOES / METEOSAT / MSG / GMS / FY2 satellites. The antenna features reversible polarization, which may be field selected between left-hand or right-hand circular polarization, which is ideal for INSAT satellites transmissions over India. When pointed midway between satellites, the Yagi INSAT Antenna is capable of transmitting a bandwidth sufficiently wide enough to illuminate two or more GOES satellites, ensuring expedient information relay.
