Sutron SDI-12 Shaft encoders measures stage (level) of rivers, streams, reservoirs and other bodies of water. Each rotation of its shaft encoder produces 400 increments. It has 2 line, 8 character built in display with backlight. It communicates over SDI-12 (v1.3 compliant), RS-232 or SDI-12 over RS485. Low power consumption (less than 2.5mA from a 12VDC supply @ 2.5 rev/sec)
