The Digital SDI Soil Moisture Sensor is a water saturation, temperature, and conductivity sensor that measures the absolute volumetric water content in any soil conducive to crop growth. With its simple installation, lack of maintenance, and stable readings amid shifting soil conditions, Sutron’s soil moisture sensor provides immediate value to agro-met observation and a variety of irrigation applications. Composed of grade 304 stainless steel, crystalline-epoxy, and polyethylene insulation, the Digital SDI Soil Moisture Sensor's sturdy construction ensures long-term reliability in any soil condition. Neither the enclosure nor the sensor’s readings are impacted by changes in soil temperature, salinity, or fertilizer content.
